On January 1, 2012 Nor-Cal Woodturners, Incorporated, a California non-profit corporation, was formed. Federal 501c3 tax exempt status has been applied for.

Nor-Cal Woodturners was founded in February 1988 and is proud to be an affiliate member of the American Association of Woodturners. We are a club of woodturning enthusiasts from the greater Sacramento, California area. Our membership ranges from the novice to the seasoned woodturning professional.

The Nor-Cal Woodturners mission is to foster an appreciation of the traditions and art of Woodturning. We do this by sharing our experiences, techniques and the turnings we produce with each other and the public. Whether it's through our Mentor program, the club-sponsored day long turning events with nationally and internationally famous woodturners, our extensive library of books, tapes and DVDs or our monthly meetings, there is something for everyone.

The club meets on the 4^th Tuesday of each month (except in November and December) in downtown Sacramento at the Ethel MacLeod Hart Senior Center, 915 27^th Street (between I and J Streets), Sacramento, CA. Our meetings are from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. All visitors are welcome.
